Doggy Daycare Requirements:
 

We require the following medical records for daycare attendees before attending. Titers, if your vet deems sufficient, are also acceptable: 
 

  • Bordetella vaccination

  • Rabies vaccination

  • Distemper / Parvo vaccination / Lepto 

  • Valid Cook County dog license or application for one

In addition:
 

  • All owners must Sign Up for daycare and fill out our Health and Temperament, Injury, Illness and Liability Form

  • All first time attending Hyde Bark Play Park dogs will first do a 1/2 or full "trial day" before they can be scheduled to attend regularly. All trial days are free of charge and can be scheduled M-F at our normal drop off and pick up times. If your dog has never attended daycare before we recommend a 1/2 day to start with. Note: all veterinary records are required before your trial day. Trial days must be booked in advance and we cannot accept walk-ins

  • Dogs may not have exhibited aggression towards other dogs or humans

  • All dogs must be at least 4 months of age and have their vaccinations 

  • All daycare dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age. we are sorry, but if your dog is not spayed or neutered after that time, they will not be allowed to attend daycare 

  • All dogs must currently be on preventative heartworm and flea medication

  • We highly recommend your dog attend daycare on a regular schedule of at least 1-2 days per week - this helps your dog be comfortable and happy by having a routine and regular friends they get to see every time rather than different and new dogs every time they come in

  • For safety reasons, all dogs must wear a quick-release buckle type collar. If you do not have one, we can provide you with one that you can have for $10

  • Dogs may not be exhibiting any signs of illness such as upper respiratory illness, including (but not limited to) canine cough or canine influenza, Stomach virus / vomiting, Giardia, Worms or parasites, CPV (mouth warts), or Fleas. Dogs exhibiting any symptoms of illness will have to be isolated and may need to be picked up early

  • If your dog will need to be fed, please pack their pre-measured food in a ziplock bag or sealed container with their full name clearly labeled. You do not need to bring bowls

Fees & Policies ​

  • Owners must fill out our Sign Up Form, provide all necessary vaccination records (see top of page for list of required vaccinations), complete our Health and Temperament, Injury, Illness and Liability Form.  Your dog's first day is also their "evaluation day" to make sure daycare is the best fit for your dog. Evaluation days must be booked in advance and we cannot accept walk-ins

  • Once your dog has completed and passed their evaluation, we can either set up a regular recurring schedule for you, or you can book weekly as needed through your Time To Pet online account or app. We encourage you to schedule any daycare days you may need for the upcoming week by Sunday to make sure we have space for your pup!

  • AM half day daycare has a drop off time is 7am to 9am and a pickup time of 10 am to 1pm. Every 15 minutes past 1pm will incur a $25 charge only if we are unable to switch your dog to full day due to full capacity. After 9am we are with the dogs and cannot be available to accept late arrivals!

  • PM half day daycare has a drop off time of 10 am to 1pm and a pickup time of between 4 pm to 7pm. After 1pm we are with the dogs cannot be available to accept late arrivals! A $25 fee per dog will be applied after 7 pm, and again for every 15 minutes after 7 pm that pickup occurs.

  • Full day daycare has a drop off time of 7am to 9am and a pickup time of 4pm to 7pm. A $25 fee per dog will be applied after 7 pm, and again for every 15 minutes after 7 pm that pickup occurs. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. Our goal is a 100% safe, happy, and enriching environment for all pets. Doggy daycare isn't for every dog, and all dogs will be subject to assessment for behavior and environmental tolerance

  • Hyde Bark Play Park adheres to and is compliant with all Animal Care Facility License Standards as put in place by the City of Chicago and the Department of Agriculture
