What kind of dog walking do you provide?
​
We provide daily Dog Walking and Cat Sitting from 6-8 AM until 8-10 PM 365 days a year. Clients have their own account to schedule whatever services you may need, keep in touch, pay your bill, and more. You will receive a notification when we arrive, and a report with pics and update after. Everything is very simple and streamlined!

Who are your Dog Walkers?
All of our Pet Care Professionals are carefully vetted, selected, and extensively trained by both the owner(s), and other Senior Pet Care Professionals. We do not use independent contractors and all of our Pet Care Professionals are all actual employees of Hyde Bark. Each employee goes through an extensive hiring and training process, including a background check.

Our employees enjoy benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and we are proud to pay a living wage. All of these things help us to attract top applicants with career-focused minds. Many of our employees have been with us for years! We tend to attract a lot of recently-graduated adults, grad students and teachers - thus they tend to stay on for at least a few years. We love consistency, and so do your pets!
Before starting, each employee first completes multiple online training courses in which they must score 100% on each test to pass. Next, they do on-the-job training with us. We continue to mentor, supervise and support employees throughout their tenure with us ensuring their performance always meets our high standards.​

How do I schedule services?​

First and foremost, we want to do a meet & greet at your home, with one of Hyde Bark's owners. Please fill out the form below to get started on that. Then, we add you to our system and can start scheduling services! This process normally takes 2-3 days.
Since most of our employees are full time and/or on regular recurring schedules, in oder to ensure you have a consistent team, we do require an advance schedule. Walks for M-T-W should be scheduled by 6pm on Sunday night; and walks for TH-F-SA-SU should be scheduled by 6pm Wednesday night. Short-notice or "on demand" walks are not our specialty, and may cost and additional $10-$20 per visit and are subject to availability!

Our service area is East to South Shore Drive, West to King Drive, North to 43rd and South to 63rd. Services at an additional cost +$1 per block outside of these areas may be available​​
