Hyde Bark Dog Walking Services and Policies

DOG WALKING ​

Dog walking services include individual attention and a private outdoor walk. We are happy to give your dog a treat, water and/or food as desired. You will receive real-time notifications when your walker arrives and departs along with photos, GPS map, and a report from your walker. Our dog walking hours are from 6am to 8pm 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

Our walks are scheduled in 2-4hour windows depending on time of day (for example, midday is by far our busiest time so these walk windows are larger)

Please note there is a one-time account setup fee of $15. This includes the cost of the lockbox which is yours to keep while you are a client. This fee will be added to your first bill and will only be due if you decide to use our services!

 

Dog Walking Rates: ​​

15 Minute Visit: $20

20 Minute Visit: $22

30 Minute Visit: $25

45 Minute Visit: $35

60 Minute Visit: $45

 

ADD ONS:​

+$5 for each additional dog

+$5 for walks on Saturday and Sunday

+$5 for “after hours” walks: 6-8am, 5-7pm, 6-8pm, & 7-9pm 

+$15 for Same Day Walks (walks requested after 7 PM the night before or on the same day)

+50% of service cost on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, New Years Eve at 5pm or later, New Years Day before 10am, Valentines Day 5pm or later, and Halloween 5pm or later.

Note: There are NO weekend fees when you schedule three or more walks on the same day!
 

SCHEDULING AND CANCELING:

  • All walk requests and cancellations can be made via your Time to Pet account

  • Visit requests for the week Monday through Friday must be received by 7pm on Sundays; and visit requests for Saturday and Sunday must be placed by 7pm on Wednesdays. There is a $5 surcharge per visit for visits placed after these days and times. Please note these visits are not guaranteed and are subject to sitter availability!

  • Same day walk requests and walks requested after 7pm the night before cost $15 more per visit and are subject to walker availability 

  • There is no fee for cancellations as long as you cancel by 7pm the night before. Cancellations received after 7pm the night before will be billed at full price

  • If we arrive to walk your dog and you no longer need the walk or we cannot access your home you will still be billed for the full cost of the walk 

CAT SITTING​

Cat Sitting includes pets and play, water and food refreshment as desired, and litter box cleaning. You will receive real-time notifications when your sitter arrives and departs along with photos and a report from your sitter. Our cat sitting hours are from 6am to 6pm seven days a week, 365 days a year. 

Please note there is a one-time account setup fee of $15. This includes the cost of the lockbox which is yours to keep while you are a client. This fee will be added to your first bill and will only be due if you decide to use our services!

  • Our cat visit times are: Anytime of Day 9am-5am; Early Morning 6am-10am; Late Morning 8am-12pm; Midday 10am-2pm; Early Afternoon 12pm-4pm; Late Afternoon 2pm-6pm; Early Evening 4pm-8pm; and Late Night 6pm-10pm (+$5)

DOGGY DAYCARE​

Our doggy daycare, Hyde Bark Play Park, is located at 5508 S. Lake Park Ave. and our hours are Monday through Friday from 7am until 7pm. We are closed on federal holidays​

Full Day has a drop off time of between 7am and 9am and a pickup time of between 4 PM and 7 PM

AM Half Day has a drop off time of between 7am and 9am and a pickup time of between 10am and 1pm

PM Half Day has a drop off time of between 11am and 1pm and a pickup time of between 4pm and 7pm

Doggy Daycare Rates:​​

$50 for FULL DAY 

Drop off between 7am and 9am and pickup between 4pm and 7pm

$40 HALF DAY

Drop off between 7am and 9am and pickup between 10am and 1pm

OR

Drop off between 11am and 1pm and pickup between 4pm and 7pm

 

ADD ONS:​

+$40 for each additional dog for Full Day

+$30 for each additional dog for Half Day

+$25 per dog per 15 minutes past the last pickup time 7 PM

SCHEDULING AND CANCELING:​

  • There may be a $10 surcharge for daycare requests received after 7pm the night before, same day requests, or walk-ins 

  • There may be a $10 fee for late drop offs - please do message us if you will be late, or try to drop off at the next window. There is generally nobody at the front desk between 9am and 10am, and 1pm and 4pm.  

  • If you need to cancel a service, please use your Time to Pet account. If you are unable to cancel via your account, please just message or call us! "No-call-no-shows" may be billed at full cost, especially if we are full and have turned other pups down for play 

  • Dogs MUST Be picked up BY 7PM - late pickups will incur a $25 fee for up to every 15 mins late

OVERNIGHT BOARDING IN OUR HOME

Note: Overnight Boarding in our Home is only available to regular Hyde Bark clients that schedule at least one daycare day per week for 30 days prior to booking. Boarding is in our homes and we only board a maximum of six dogs at a time. Boarding includes all walks and feeding and it is a cage-free environment unless requested otherwise. Please review Pet Boarding Form or FAQS if you would like to learn more about our boarding services and all requirements

Boarding Rates:

$90 per night (24hrs)

ADD ONS:

+$70 for each additional dog for overnight boarding

+$50 for pickup after 1pm 

+$15 for pickups and drop offs (only available within Hyde Park) +$5 for pickups or drop offs 5pm or later

+50% of service cost on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day 

+50% for less than 48hrs notice (first night only)

SCHEDULING AND CANCELING:

  • All boarding requests and cancellations can be made via your Time to Pet account

  • We suggest booking boarding as far in advance as possible since space is very limited and we do get full very quickly

  • To schedule boarding, select “overnight boarding”. We will send you via your Time to Pet account within one business day our Boarding form to fill out. Once we have received your completed form your care will be confirmed and we will send the finalized schedule to you to review. Note: we must receive your completed form and vaccinations before we can confirm your booking

  • Cancellations must be received at least one week in advance. Cancellations made with less than one week notice will be billed at 50%

  • Requests placed with less than 48hrs notice are 50% more for the first night
     

OVERNIGHT PET SITTING IN YOUR HOME​

Note: Overnight Pet Sitting in Your Home is only available to regular Hyde Bark clients that schedule at least one walk or daycare day per week for 30 days. Pet Sitting includes two 30 minute walks/visits, including feeding, a quick bedtime let out, and a sleepover in your home arriving between 7-10pm and departing between 6-9am. Additional walks maybe scheduled at regular prices. There are no weekend fees on Pet Sitting walks. Please review our Pet Sitting Form or FAQS if you would like to learn more about our pet sitting services

 

Overnight Pet Sitting Rate:​

$150 per night - includes 2 walks + bedtime let out & sleepover

 

Pet Sitting NO Overnight Rate:

Starts at $55 for x2 30 minute walks/visits - a minimum of 2 30min visits are required for pet sitting 

 

ADD ONS:​

+$50 per night for each additional dog

+ $5 per visit/walk for each additional dog

+$5 per visit for each additional cat

SCHEDULING AND CANCELING:​

  • All pet sitting requests and cancellations can be made via your Time to Pet account

  • To schedule pet sitting, simply select “overnight pet sitting”. We will send you via google docs a short questionnaire to fill out in regards to their care and routine. Once we have received your completed form your care will be confirmed and we will send the finalized schedule to you to review. Note: we must receive your completed form before we can confirm your booking!

  • We recommend a meet and greet with your sitter ($15)

  • Cancellations must be received at least one week in advance. Cancellations made with less than one week notice will be billed at 50%

  • Requests placed with less than 48hrs notice are 50% more for the first night       

HOURLY PET SITTING IN YOUR HOME

Hourly pet sitting is when we come to your home and watch your dog. No walks are included in this service. It is available by special request only and is subject to walker availability 

Hourly Pet Sitting Rate:

$40 per hour​

 

SCHEDULING AND CANCELING:​

  • Please message us via your Time to Pet client account to schedule and check availability

  • Cancellations must be received at least one week in advance. Cancellations made with less than one week notice will be billed at 50%

  • There are no additional evening or weekend fees​

BILLING​

We bill weekly on MONDAYS after completed services. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers and checks. We also accept Zelle to hydebarkdogwalking@gmail.com and Venmo to @hydebark - please be sure to include your pet’s name when sending payment via Zelle or Venmo

If you choose to add a credit card, debit card or bank account to your account you will be auto-charged every Friday. You will receive your invoice prior to being charged and you are able to add a tip at this time if you choose to do so. We can also set up an auto-tip if you would like. Tips will be automatically evenly dispersed to your walkers/sitters. Tips can also be sent via Venmo or Zelle

SPECIALS​

Receive an extra 10% credit on your account good for any services when you prepay any $100 amount via Zelle! For example, if you send $100 you get $110 credit on your account, $200 gets you $220 and so on

KEYS​

We ask for two sets of keys for your residence whenever possible. We will then lockbox one set of keys at your residence, while keeping a backup set in the key safe at the office in case of an emergency. Please make sure to confirm with your building if applicable that you will be using a pet care service and a lockbox. We do use lockboxes for all of our keys and will be unable to provide services if we you cannot provide us with keys and/or we cannot use a lockbox. Exceptions for MAC buildings with established “fob" check out systems in place. 

 

You can provide us with keys at the meet and greet, or you can drop off your keys at Hyde Bark Play Park located at 5508 S. Lake Park Ave. There is a mail slot if it's after hours. Please be sure to label your keys with your pet's name so we know who they belong to!

If you are dropping off keys, please be sure to label your keys either with a tag or in an envelope with your pet’s name, and remove any unnecessary keys or keychains (so they will fit in our lockboxes)

Please note: there is a $10 key pickup or drop off fee if you wish for us to pick up or drop off your keys directly. If we need to make key copies for you, there may be an additional charge of $2-20 (depending on the key - we only charge actual cost). We recommend Security Shop at 1605 E. 55th. for any key needs!
